Business-Operations Manager Position at Wilkinson School in El Granada, CA

WILKINSON SCHOOL:

• One-of-a-kind school near Half Moon Bay, CA, is searching for a highly-skilled, energetic and experienced Business-Operations Manager for Wilkinson School.
• Small school environment: enrollment of 40-50 JK-8 grade students in four classrooms, each class composed of 2 or 3 consecutive grade levels

JOB SUMMARY:

• Full Time position beginning in June 2024.
• Have primary responsibility for day-to-day and strategic operational duties
• Manage operations staff and facility vendors
• Lead school marketing efforts (website, social media, press, etc.)
• Schedule student trips and all school special classes - day and week long
• Lead admissions process
• Manage budget allocation, tracking, and reporting
• Manage student information system
• Build community, foster parent-involvement & serve as a parent point-of-contact
• Assist with fundraising events (e.g. Comedy Luau & Coastside Gives)
• Coordinate after school programs and summer camps logistics

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be highly personable and have a welcoming presence
• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Business or Accounting, Marketing, School Administration or related field
• Five or more years’ experience in business administration, marketing, or operations required; two of more years with school operations preferred
• Excellent relationship-building, management and community-engagement skills
• Experience with Quickbooks, Google Suites, and spreadsheets preferred
• Strong problem-solving and consensus-building abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Value strong relationships with staff members, students, and parent community
